How to Watch DVD on Android Phone?

When you first read this title, you must think it's joking.Anyway,it is not a joke. I admit that we can not watch dvd directly on Android phone since Android phone don't get a DVD drive like the pc.And it's also too small to hold a DVD drive. But we love the DVD video quality which is much more clearer than normal videos. Now Thanksgiving festival is coming, some guys may want to collect some thanksgiving movie to have fun. Some old memorable movies are worthy watching. If you just get the DVDs of these movies, you can put it into the DVD player to enjoy with the family. But if you want to watch it on your time or you want to share with your friends, it's not convenient to take with the DVD.

While there is a way we can watch DVD indirectly. We can use some ripping software to extract the video from CD and convert it to video formats that our phone handset support.I just run into a program like this named leawo dvd ripper. Then I would like to show you how to rip a dvd for your Android handset.

1 Install this DVD and load the DVD folder. The picture below is the program interface.I like the clean interface, you can quick find the feature you want.

2 Find the "profile" → "Android phone"→Choose your phone type. For the limited phone type, if you can't find your phone type, you can choose “Android phone”

3 If you think the video size this not suitable for your phone, you can first choose any one  of the provided type, then change the settings, you can click the red part as show in the following picture.

For the video size, you can find the Multimedia information in the phone specific(just search it online),I will take Samsung Galaxy S3 for example
You can find that the video size is the 1280 x720,and the support video format MPEG4, H.264, H.263, WMV, so just replace the current video size with 1280 x720, and choose "save as" to save it for next time use.The last step is to start to rip the DVD.It goes the same for other phone handsets.
